Import Lottery Wheels

It is very common for lottery players to build their own lottery systems, or to use lottery wheels that are shared on the world wide web.

When it comes to the point that you want to practice your own wheels, you might find it quite frustrating to make the conversion from the wheel indexes to the numbers you selected, not to talk about drawing the numbers on the bet slips or use filters. It is a tedious task and often you find yourself doing the same job again and again because of mistakes.

Using LottoJet it is very simple and easy to import lottery wheels and systems. From the File submenu, select Import Wheel File... and the following window will appear. Navigate to where your wheel file is located and select it, as the sample shows:

Select a wheel file.

Once you selected your wheel, click the Open button. LottoJet will automatically read your wheel file, parse it, and display the results in a new window, as the following sample shows:

Import log.

Lets review the import log. In this specific sample, LottoJet is set to play the USA Powerball game so it is obvious that we are playing a pick 5 game, so trying to import a wheel combination that doe's not contain 5 numbers, should fail. This is exactly what you can see in the first red line, which contains 6 numbers and not 5.

The rest of the wheel file contains combinations that are 5 numbers each and they are parsed successfully and painted in green. So:

  • Green - indicate a successful reading.
  • Red - indicate a failed reading.

IMPORTANT: Any character between the numbers is a legal delimiter, as long as its not a number.

More information that we can read from the log:

  • Panels - successful panels (wheel combination) that LottoJet imported.
  • Numbers - the game we are about to play, which is 18 numbers in the sample.

Once you are satisfied with the import log results, click OK to approve. LottoJet is now ready to be used with the new wheel.

To revert back to the normal functionality of LottoJet, click the Reset button on the toolbar, or press F5.
